It's mid November now and I find myself so occupied with things to do. I remember days and weeks of boredom
where I couldn't find a single thing to do. Even games seems completely reason less and boring. Since those
days I've slowly been gaining new interests and now all a sudden there is so much stuff and hobbies on my
mind, I find myself constantly overwhelmed. But after experiencing those years of sitting on a computer
without reason all day, I find myself enjoying this lifestyle full of endless plans and expectations.
These upcoming months I plan on buying some old game consoles to play games on. I feel I will someday
come to regret if I never try to play them. I bought a PS2 Slim from eBay for a pretty decent price (pic below)
I dont care if it has a couple scratches, as long as it works I'm good haha. Seeing someone with a home brew
game cube made me inspired to add that to my list of future endeavors. After buying a game cube you open it then
solder a Raspberry Pi to it with some firmware, it's that simple and I hope ill be able to get to that sometime.
Thoughts mainstream software and its impact on modern society. 11/17/22
In a world where most software locks code away from common eyes, you find people, everywhere using
iphones, tiktok, instagram, ect. All the brands make you pay while taking away your own rights.
When that isnt simply enough they take your personal information, they brainwash you, taking your
human abilities away after you live your life only seeing what they want you to see. They take
culture away, destroying older arts and practices. It seems so slow yet it is happening faster
than you can believe they are taking our speech away from us. Major social media platforms push
younger audiences to the top silencing older arts to the bottom, they support the younger generations
while they pave through what made the internet fun. The companies snicker as they earn more and
more money, with all in their control they earn more and more. Swiftly they take the majority to
them with their power. With nothing but people who have no idea what is happening to them, they
continue to support the coorperations as they gain more and more power. More and more things
disappear by the day, archives vanish, words are banned, old fun is forgotten. It has gone so
far already that there is nothing the common man can do, it is over. I will live out my life with
my freedom though, I will live without constantly paying and feeding into their demands.
